DrawnOnward is a possibility engine, an everything you need kind of machine. DrawnOnward is a process of un- and 

re- becoming what we are. DrawnOnward is NOW on crack, a stroboscopic disco in the excess of code. DrawnOnward is two assholes in a room. And sexually explicit. DrawnOnward is a corporate corporal coping mechanism for the things that did not change in the future. DrawnOnward is an operator and a test subject. DrawnOnward expresses a shared passion for innovation, design, aesthetics, and utility in an environment that inspires people to discover. DrawnOnward is a limitless borderless, a happy convergence of ideas. DrawnOnward is drawn onward, it is what it does. DrawnOnward is a palindrome, no matter from which angle you approach it – it works!

“DrawnOnward” generates a multiverse of possible and inevitable futures and their recreated, reenacted, (mis)remembered pasts. Working in collaboration with the choreographer Juli Reinartz, musician Marc Lohr, writer John-Erik Jordan, costume designer Grzegorz Matlag and dramaturge Maximilian Haas, Jeremy Wade embraces the world-making technologies of queer science fiction to preprogram and reorient the conditional network we call the universe at present.

Bewegen oder bewegt werden? Handeln oder behandelt werden? Passivität gilt als die ungeliebte, die kranke Schwester der Aktivität. Aktivität ist produktiv, konstruktiv, attraktiv, rentabel – kurz: gut. Passivität ist schlecht, denn sie führt zu nichts, ist stumm und dumm: Selbst schuld, wer sich nicht rührt. Die Tanzperformance «Passive Movement» möchte die Passivität aus dem Pathologischen befreien und überprüfen, ob es wirklich an der Aktivität liegt, die Dinge ins Rollen zu bringen.

Ein Plastikbecher knickt ein. Ein paar Wolken drehen die Runde. Eine Grille zirpt. Ein Wartebalken auf dem Computer-Bildschirm zeigt die verrechnete Zeit an und jemand lehnt gegen eine Wand. Bewegung findet sich in jedem Ding, der aktiv handelnde Mensch ist nur eines davon. Und: Bewegung passiert immer zwischen mehreren Dingen. Niemand handelt allein, sondern stets zusammen mit anderen Dingen. Alle sind zugleich aktiv und passiv, nur die Gewichtung variiert. So gesehen stellt «Passive Movement» keinen Widerspruch dar. Im Gegenteil: Passivität ist eine unerlässliche, sehr wirksame und poetische Form von Bewegung.

Fünf TänzerInnen, ein paar Spiele und liegen gebliebene, aufsässige oder vergessene und vielleicht doch noch begehrte Gegenstände teilen sich die Bühne. Die Choreographie wird auf Bälle, abgelegte Turnschuhe, verwahrloste Sportgeräte, auf Scheinwerfer und Lautsprecher, auf menschliche und nichtmenschliche Körper ausgedehnt. Diese stehen im permanenten Austauschverhältnis, spielen sich gegenseitig Handlungsmöglichkeiten zu und erzeugen gemeinsam Bewegungen. Lucie Tuma & Co laden ein in einen Raum der Musse, der engagierten Unterhaltung und der konzentrierten Zerstreuung.

THE CONFERENCE – The one-day conference Portraying Animals explores the role of animals in contemporary art. The genre of the animal portrait is of particular importance here: the portrait does not simply show an animal, but always this one animal.

THE SHOOTING – Mobile Academy Berlin has prepared a one-day experiment to be held at the DEPO2015 hall in Plzeň. Human-animal pairs that have lived and worked a long time together will play the leads: a falcon and its falconer, a pig and its client, a guide dog and his trainer, and a python and its keeper, to name a few.

THE PRODUCT – The third stage of the project is as a direct consequence of the photo shooting. The resulting images of this public shooting are the starting point for the production of posters, small gadgets, souvenirs and other consumer items.
